25th May 2022: To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign, Subway® has added two new limited-edition items to its menu – the Coronation Tikka Sub and Lemon Drizzle Cookie. 

For this extra-special occasion, one of Subway’s most popular menu items has been given the royal treatment. 

An ode to the historic Jubilee staple, the Coronation Tikka Sub is like the sandwich we know and love, but with a royal twist. It’s packed with succulent pieces of chicken breast marinated in Indian style spices and mixed with lite mayo and spiced mango chutney. 

Available from the 25th May to 7th June, the limited-edition Coronation Tikka Sub will be the crowning glory of any Jubilee weekend celebrations.

And don’t forget to save room for dessert! Inspired by the tea party classic, Subway’s brand-new Lemon Drizzle Cookie is filled with melt-in-the-mouth white candy chips and lemon flavoured sugar candies – the perfect sweet treat. 

The limited-edition Lemon Drizzle Cookie will be available from the 25th May until 30th August so you can indulge all summer long. 

For an added treat over the Jubilee weekend (2nd – 5th June), Subway is also offering their guests free delivery on all orders over £10 through Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.

On top of this, Subway fans will be able to get their hands on a new Platinum Meal Deal from 25th May and 7th June in-store, which includes a 6-inch Coronation Tikka Sub, Lemon Drizzle Cookie and drink of choice. 

Angelina Gosal, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Subway said: “We wanted to offer something extra special to mark the Queen’s 70-year reign, so we’ve created two delicious Jubilee-inspired treats for guests to enjoy throughout the Bank Holiday.” 

Subway recently created their biggest ever Sub to date! A whopping seven metres in length – a metre for every decade of Her Majesty’s reign – one very lucky fan was crowned the winner of the enormous sandwich to share with friends and family over the Jubilee weekend.
