25th March 2026: Subway® introduces its latest culinary sensation, the Shawarma Spiced Chicken, bringing a burst of fresh and trending flavour onto the menu just in time for spring.

Fans can enjoy succulent, oven-cooked chicken thigh pieces, marinated for a minimum four hours in an aromatic and warming blend of cumin, coriander, turmeric and paprika – delivering the perfect way to switch up your order.

Available in Subway restaurants nationwide from 25th March, the new Shawarma Spiced Chicken can be enjoyed your way – whether that’s as a Footlong or 6” Sub, in a wrap, a salad, or even on a fluffy jacket potato with Subway’s Spudway® offering.

Following a successful trial, Smashed Falafel is another new option adding even more vibrant flavour to the menu. Made using vibrant green chickpeas, and flavoured with a

classic combination of parsley, coriander and cumin, this plant-based option is perfect for anyone looking for a protein-packed alternative with no compromise. It’s also available as a snack bag, featuring six falafels served with a dip of your choice, for a lighter bite on the go.

The Yogurt, Mint & Garlic Sauce is a refreshing new addition that elevates both of the new menu items, combining the fresh tang of yogurt balanced with mint and garlic, plus bursts of flavour from diced gherkins. It adds a crisp, light note that pairs perfectly with both the Shawarma Spiced Chicken and the Smashed Falafel.

For those needing a sweet treat, Subway’s fan-favourite Raspberry Cheesecake Cookie is back by popular demand. This delicious cookie delivers a creamy cheesecake flavour through the combination of white chips and raspberry flavoured bits for the perfect indulgent moment. Available individually, in a three-pack, or a box of twelve to share with friends.
